Round 6 of the Victorian Powerchair Sports League was the first round back after the Christmas break as both teams looked to start 2019 in a winning way.
🏒 #PowerchairHockey | An intense low scoring battle saw the Dragons take the lead midway through the first half. The Scorpions however hit back and scored with under 30 seconds left in the half to take the scores to an even 1-1. The second half started with a run of goals as the Dragons took back the lead before the Scorpions quickly levelled the scores for the second time of the match. The Dragons once again took the lead, but this time were able to hold on as both teams fought hard right to the end but the Scorpions just couldn’t quite find an equaliser.

⚽️ #PowerchairFootball | For the first time since round one, there was a win in Powerchair Football. The Dragons grabbed an early lead as they had most of the control for the first half. An early second half goal gave the Dragons a 2-0 lead before the Scorpions scored quickly after to set up a close finish. The Dragons defence held on to secure the points.

🏉 #PowerchairRugby | It was another dominant performance from the Scorpions as they lead from start to finish while scoring tries at will. The Dragons defence was no match as the Scorpions made the most of it. While the Scorpions attack was impressive, their defence was just as good as they conceded only one try for the match.
